United States Premier League Names Rookie of Month Wednesday, August 1st, 2035 Youngster Carlos Mendoza emerged as the latest United States Premier League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Philadelphia 1776 deserved the honor, batting .349 with 5 home runs and 11 RBI. Is the month of July a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Mendoza enjoy the limelight. For the season, Mendoza is hitting at a .328 clip with 7 home runs, 15 RBIs and has scored 11 runs.
