Pivotal Game Goes to Host Battery, 15-6
Charleston Battery second baseman Datu Lesaca was the difference-maker at Charleston Armory today, winning player of the game honors as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game of the Round 2036. The Battery took the 15-6 win over the Boston Patriots to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

The Battery took a 11-6 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning. Facing Boston hurler Doug Carlton with no outs, Lesaca hit a bases-clearing triple.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Lesaca told the Charleston Daily.

The next game is scheduled for tomorrow. The scheduled starters for the game are Manuel Sánchez for Boston and Carlos Medina for Charleston.
