The Houston 1837 BBC moved to within one game of the Round 2 today, downing the visiting Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids at Houston Grounds by a score of 5-1. 1837 BBC right-hander Chris Holland was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 6 innings of shutout ball. The win gives the 1837 BBC a - advantage in the best-of- Silver League Championship.
