Medina, Brooklyn Start Third League Championship Strong with Home Win
|
Brooklyn Dodgers right fielder Félix Medina was the difference-maker at Ebbetts Field today, winning player of the game honors as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game of the Third League Championship. The Dodgers took the 6-3 win over the Oakland Oaks to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.
Medina had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the sixth for the Dodgers. Coming up with the bases loaded and Brooklyn trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run double.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Medina told the Brooklyn Herald.
