The Charleston Battery got a superb performance from pitcher Tony Alfonso, but the Houston 1837 BBC still won the game, 5-4. Alfonso was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 8 innings of 5-hit ball. Houston is now 32-26, Charleston 28-30.
