The Vancouver Grey Wolves moved to within one game of the Round 2 today, downing the visiting Oakland Oaks at Wolf Den in Vancouver by a score of 3-2. Grey Wolves right-hander Ambrose Randall was named player of the game after a strong outing in which he threw 6 innings allowing 2 runs. The win gives the Grey Wolves a - advantage in the best-of- Round 1.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, designated hitter Hani Azwan came through big-time for the Grey Wolves. With Vancouver trailing 2-0, he belted a 2-run home run.
