Game was big. So was Cameron Frye.

The Toledo starter rose to the occasion at Dunkin Donuts Park today, earning player of the game honors after leading the Stingers to a crucial 5-1 victory over the Boston Patriots. Frye threw 7 innings allowing 1 run as the Stingers won on the road to seize a - lead in the best-of- Silver League Championship.

Brock Dean, who is tied for 3rd in the SL in RBI with 10, aided the Toledo cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman drove in one run.

"We'll savor this win," Frye told the Toledo Gazette, "then get ready for the next game."
