Portland Evergreens third baseman Billy Dotson was the difference-maker at Evergreen Park today, winning player of the game honors as he led his club to victory in a pivotal Game of the Round 1. The Evergreens took the 7-2 win over the Quebec City Les Bleus to seize a - lead in the best-of- series.

Dotson's nice game included a clutch 3-run home run in the bottom of the first.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Dotson.
