The Charleston Battery have a critical edge over the New Orleans Voodoo in the Silver League Championship, thanks to the veteran arm of Finn Wuilink.

Wuilink, 33, put on a dominant performance at Charleston Armory today, leading the Battery to victory, 6-1, in a pivotal Game . Charleston is now one game away from the United States Silver League Championship, leading the best-of- series by a margin of - . New Orleans will need to win both remaining games to advance.

The Voodoo had trouble solving Wuilink, who surrendered 1 earned run on 2 hits over 6.2 innings.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Wuilink said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
