Elephants Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
|
In a close game at Wranglers Ballpark, the Gibtown Elephants edged the Sheridan Deer, 4-3. Gibtown left fielder Seb Considine earned the nod as player of the game. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Sheridan has now lost 4 in a row.
Frank Morris, who is tied for 8th in the 3R with a .386 on-base percentage, aided the Gibtown cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth. For the game, the pinch hitter drove in one run.
