Lentz went 8.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 9. His record improves to 6-5. Taro Kishita earned the save, his 16th.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 2nd and 3rd and two out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when catcher John Mayer got hit by a pitch. The Elephants went on to win.
