The Franklin Fire turned back the Northwest Territory Beavers, 5-4, at Lawmen Ballpark. Ignacio Cabrera was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The Fire have an impressive 60-35 record.
Broderick Sarcoma, who is tied for 3rd in the SR in home runs with 17, helped out the Franklin cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the second baseman went 3 for 5 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
