Ballpark of Wellsville was the site of a tense game between the Franklin Fire and Ladue Rams.

In a low-scoring clash between Ladue and Franklin, pitcher Hsiao-lou Lei was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for Ladue in the 2-1 win. The Rams own a robust 66-24 mark.

Junji Ito was the walk-off hero for Ladue. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rams pinch hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"This wasn't a good win," said Lei. "It was a great win."
