The Ladue Rams picked up a win at Ballpark of Wellsville, knocking off the Franklin Fire, 5-4. Starting pitcher Roger Edwards, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The wins continue to add up for Ladue, with the latest making it 14 in a row.

The Rams got a lift from catcher Jacob King who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning off Marvin Wilson. It was his 35th RBI of the season and put Ladue in front, 5-4.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Edwards said.
