The 2035 season is getting ugly for Newcastle.

Germantown starter Yeow-whye Gao put a stranglehold on the Newcastle offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Uruguayans to a 7-1 win. Newcastle's current losing streak is now 6 games.

Gao, who is tied for 2nd in the SR in wins with 11, pitched a complete game for Germantown. Gao surrendered 2 hits over 9 innings and struck out 14. With the win, he moves to 11-3 on the season.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Gao said after the game.
