The Ladue Rams picked up a win at Newcastle Stadium, knocking off the Newcastle Mermen, 3-2. Starting pitcher Roger Edwards, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Edwards picked up the win for Ladue, going 8.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 11-3. Ladue has now won 3 in a row.
