The Montgomery Biscuits grabbed a 10-4 win over the Valley View Cougars at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Montgomery shortstop Bernardo Rodríguez went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 to earn player of the game honors. Wilford Barnes was the winning pitcher. Over 9 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 10 hits, with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts. Montgomery is now riding a 3-game win streak.
The Biscuits got a big at-bat from catcher Jesús Hernández. For the game, Hernández was 1-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 4th double of the season gave Montgomery a 6-3 lead.
