Biscuits Lose, 4-1, at Alouettes Ballpark
|
Capital Hill Interns starter Hwa-pyung Yi pitched a strong game against the Montgomery Biscuits at Alouettes Ballpark, leading the Interns to a 4-1 win. The win was credited to Álex Ortíz in relief. His record improves to 5-4. Paolo Speranza took the loss. The Interns, at 61-28, have now won 6 straight.
Zong-ming Tsui went 1 for 4 with a walk for Capital Hill. The 21-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Paolo Speranza. It was his 18th walk of the season.
"It was a solid team effort," said Tsui after the game.
