The Surprise Shockers grabbed a 6-1 win over the Montgomery Biscuits at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Surprise first baseman Marcos García hit 2 home runs to earn player of the game honors. Surprise reliever Matt Koller picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Paolo Speranza was saddled with the loss. Surprise currently is in 4th place in the Premier R at 46-37.

Edgar López helped out the Surprise cause in the top of the seventh inning with a 2-run triple. For the game, the second baseman went 2-4 with a triple and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
