Beavers Squelch Baby Lakers Offense in Shutout Win
|
Ballard Beavers starter Jorge Moreno turned in an exceptional performance against the Bompton Baby Lakers at Field of the Browns, resulting in a Ballard win, 4-0. Ballard is now 32-23, while Bompton is 35-20.
Evegnii Wolfson's at-bat in the top of the sixth inning was a big one for Ballard. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and Ballard leading 1-0, the designated hitter hit a 2-run single.
"Feels good to get the job done," Wolfson said after the game.
