The Greenport Harbor Whales got production from their entire lineup in an easy 16-3 win over the Redwood Rhinos. Player of the game honors went to first baseman Jon Walker. Walker, who is tied for 10th in the 3R in doubles with 14, went 4-5 with a home run, 2 doubles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs and drove in 7. Greenport reliever Camillo Vialli picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Ramón Ramírez took the loss. Redwood has now lost 9 straight.

The game hit a turning point in the top of the fifth inning, when the Harbor Whales were trailing 3-2. Aaron Day delivered a two-out 2-run single for Greenport, catapulting his team into the lead.
