Colston Helps Revolvers Run Win Streak to 4
|
The Santa Fe Revolvers bested the Northwest Territory Beavers, 9-1, at Beaver Town. Allan Colston was named player of the game. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The Revolvers have now won 4 straight.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 2nd and 3rd and two out in the top of the fifth inning. That's when right fielder Sean Cox, who is tied for 6th in the SR in doubles with 16, drew a walk. The Revolvers went on to win.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Cox.
