Mermen Lose Again, 11-5, to Revolvers
The Santa Fe Revolvers defeated the Newcastle Mermen, 11-5. Earning player of the game honors was first baseman Allan Colston, who was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Felipe Deleón got the win, improving to 3-5. He worked 7.2 innings, giving up 5 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 2. Newcastle now has a 11-game losing streak.

Colston contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Santa Fe in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 4-3, Colston took a cutter from Francisco Aragón and stroked the home run to right. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Revolvers to leap in front, 5-4.
