Submarinos Lose 4-1 Decision to Canucks
|
Alfonso Hadalgo pitched a gem to lead Moose Jaw to a 4-1 victory over the Amarillo Submarinos. Moose Jaw currently is in 8th place in the Silver R at 20-36.
Jeffrey Braz had a big 2-run triple for the Canucks in the bottom of the third inning. With Moose Jaw leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a slider from Yasunobu Suisha and stroked the triple to right. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Canucks ahead, 3-0.
"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Canucks manager Wynn Burton. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
