Cox Hits 2 home runs in Revolvers Win
|
Behind a solid performance from right fielder Sean Cox, the Santa Fe Revolvers defeated the Germantown Uruguayans, 4-3. Cox belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Revolvers. The Revolvers improved to 13-12.
Cox had a key at-bat for Santa Fe early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Santa Fe an early 3-0 lead.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Santa Fe manager Luis Díaz. "It's usually not just one thing."
