Brian Gardner pitched a gem to lead Tulsa to a 7-1 victory over the Northwest Territory Beavers. Losses have been few and far between for the Beavers so far this season. Their record drops to 3-1.

The Otters got a big at-bat from second baseman Manuel Márquez. For the game, Márquez went 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 5th hit of the season gave Tulsa a 2-0 lead.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Gardner said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
