Pitcher Henry Burge was sensational for the Surprise Shockers in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Memphis Music. Burge received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. The save was credited to José Castro, his 5th. Surprise currently is in 4th place in the Premier R at 33-27.

Alfredo Garza, who is tied for 6th in the PR in extra base hits with 27, helped out the Surprise cause in the top of the fourth inning with a bases-clearing double. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 4 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Surprise manager Desmond Woodford. "It's usually not just one thing."
