The Capital Hill Interns got a superb performance from pitcher Jo Yamasaki, but the Valley View Cougars still won the game, 4-3. Yamasaki was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 8 innings of 6-hit ball. Tsugahara Ota, credited with the win, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. Valley View is now 25-17, Capital Hill 28-14.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Valley View trailing 3-2, Gene Payne hit a slider from Yushua Wazir to right-center for a 2-run home run. Just like that, the Cougars had a walk-off win.
