Salas Rips Ogallala for 5 Hits
Interns center fielder António Salas had his way with Ogallala pitching today at Nebraska Aquarium and mauled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Octopi ruined his great day by toppling the Interns, 5-4.

"I had a great day, but you've got to give Ogallala credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits."

"Oh, we noticed what Salas did today," Octopi skipper Albert Emery said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him."

António Salas singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

Salas is hitting .394 in 2035 with 16 RBIs and no home runs.
