Snowpeople Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
Ellesmere Island right-hander Ipe de Deugd pitched his team to victory over the Valley View Cougars at Hillandale Grounds. The final score was 3-2. George Kipcak closed the game out for Ellesmere Island, earning his 1st save. The Snowpeople keep rolling, raising their record to 6-3.

It could have been a different outcome for Ellesmere Island, had it not been for Hsien-feng Chen, the 20-year old center fielder . Chen contributed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Ellesmere Island up, 3-1.

"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Chen.
