Biscuits Lose Again, 7-2, to Sun Sox
|
Winter Haven and Montgomery met at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium in front of a lively crowd.
The Winter Haven Sun Sox knocked off the Montgomery Biscuits, 7-2, at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Garrett Hogan, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Winter Haven won. The catcher was 2-5 with a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Winter Haven is now 3-4.
Hogan had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the first inning, when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Sun Sox went on to win.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Winter Haven manager Barrett Abbott.
