Ellesmere Island Snowpeople starter Dave Shepard turned in a top-notch performance against the Montgomery Biscuits at Corpus Christi Grounds. The result was a win for the Snowpeople, 4-2. Zi-cheng Yang closed the game out for Ellesmere Island, earning his 1st save. Ellesmere Island, now 4-2, has gotten their season off to a good start.

Ryung Jae-Wook aided the Ellesmere Island cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, the catcher went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Jae-Wook. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
