Guzzlers Drop Another One
|
Washington and Galesburg duked it out at Galesburg Field and the Generals came out victorious.
Washington rode a decent outing from starter Dan Craggs to victory over the Galesburg Guzzlers at Galesburg Field. The final score was 6-3. Jeffrey Chesser was called on to finish, recording his 13th save.
Washington catcher Ken Pittman contributed to the cause with a 2-run single in the top of the fifth. For the game, Pittman went 3-5 with 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Craggs.
Galesburg, at 41-53, has lost 5 straight.
