York Revolution starter José Rodríguez was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the South Beach Blaze, 1-0. York reliever Elmo Ciccolella was credited with the win, to go to 1-1. Devoid Couch took the loss for South Beach. Aksel Svendsen closed it out for his 5th save.

Had Stephen Goldobenko not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Goldobenko hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 1-0, in favor of the Revolution.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Rodríguez said after the game.

York, at 44-39, occupies 4th place in the Premier A.
