The Delaware 1787 BC topped the Washington Generals, 7-6, in USPL Single A action at Washington Park. The player of the game was Delaware pitcher and Katrineholm, Sweden native Einar Engberg. José González earned the save, his 9th, for the 1787 BC. Delaware now owns a record of 31-37.
The most critical at-bat came in the top of the 17th inning. With two out, Tomás Flores hit a 2-2 fastball from Henry Stribling for a run-scoring double. It put Delaware in front, 7-6.
