Bowties Win in Glorious Fashion
The Buckhead Bowties did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the New Orleans Voodoo at 5 Paces Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Dale Hamilton, who captured player of the game honors. Buckhead reliever Yajirobei Otomo was credited with the win, to go to 3-0. Mark Valle took the loss for New Orleans. The loss drops New Orleans to 8-5.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Yu-zeng Si came to bat in the bottom of the tenth. Facing New Orleans pitcher Mark Valle, he hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring triple. It was a game-changer, putting Buckhead on top, 3-2.

"Feels good to get the job done," Si said after the game.
