Galesburg starter Stan Sweeney pitched effectively against the Provo Mango at Galesburg Field. The left-hander led his team to a 5-2 win. Sweeney went 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 4-4. Gilberto Chávez picked up the save for Galesburg, his 11th of the year.
