Generals Top Mango to Even Record
|
Ramón Gálvez never let the Mango get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his forkball, to pitch the Generals to a 5-1 win. Anthony Lang got credit for the save for Washington. It was his 2nd of the year. The Generals now have a record of 23-23 with the win over Provo.
Washington shortstop Dale Clark contributed to the cause with a single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Clark was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk.
Gálvez called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
