The Washington Generals got a superb performance from pitcher António Rodríguez. Still, it wasn't enough to beat York. The Revolution won the game, 5-4. In spite of the loss, Rodríguez was named the player of the game. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball. Steve O'Keefe was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with no walks and 2 strikeouts. Mark Morgan got credit for the save for York. It was his 2nd of the year.

Vitorio Flores drove in one run for York. The 21-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off António Rodríguez. It was his 14th RBI of the season.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Flores told the York News.

York, at 13-18, sits in 9th place in the Premier A.
