Mango Continue Hot Start to Season With Win
|
Provo Mango starter Alan Halsall was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the York Revolution, 5-1. Halsall picked up the win for Provo, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. The Mango have hit the ground running, raising their record to 11-4. While it's still too soon to talk about Provo hoisting their 2nd PL A Championship trophy, fans are getting excited about their strong start.
Quinn Lynch aided the Provo cause with a bases-clearing double in the top of the seventh. For the game, the second baseman went 1-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Halsall.
