Victory Pushes Storm Record to 50-40
|
Jean-Marie Beck pitched well, but the Niagara Falls Expos still lost the game, falling 4-3 to the Syracuse Storm at Storm Park. The Expos, now 28-62, have lost 4 in a row.
The Storm got a big at-bat from center fielder Dale Goodman. For the game, Goodman went 1 for 4 with a triple, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Syracuse a 3-0 lead.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Goodman told the Syracuse Herald.
