Victory Pushes Outlaws Record to 7-6
|
The Nashville Outlaws bested the Seattle Aviators, 6-4, at Nashville Stadium. Juan Caro was named player of the game. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The save went to Jorge Villanueva, his 3rd this season. Seattle, at 3-10, is off to a poor start in 2035.
Arnold Giroux was 1-3 with a walk for Nashville. The 31-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Morlack Spurgeon. It was his 10th RBI of the season.
"We'll savor this win," Giroux told the Nashville Observer, "then get ready for the next game."
