Louisiana third baseman Roger Snodgrass had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Niagara Falls Expos, 7-3. John Thomas picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-2. Jean-Marie Beck was tagged with the loss. Niagara Falls, at 27-58, has lost 6 straight.

Snodgrass contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Louisiana in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 2-1, Snodgrass took a fastball from Jean-Marie Beck and stroked the home run to left. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Dragoons to leap in front, 5-2.
