Kennesaw and Louisiana duked it out at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium and the Jets came out victorious.
The Kennesaw Jets topped the Louisiana Dragoons, 5-2, in USSL Single A action at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium. The player of the game was Kennesaw pitcher Joshua Neal. Kennesaw has an impressive 49-25 record.
In the top of the fifth inning, right fielder Preston Johnston came through big-time for the Jets. With Kennesaw leading 2-1, he belted a solo home run.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Johnston.
