Louisiana pitcher Mark Smith gave the Expos all they could handle, but in the end, Niagara Falls left Dragoons War Memorial Stadium with a 6-1 win. Smith allowed no earned runs on 4 hits over 6.1 innings. Niagara Falls occupies last place in the Silver A at 22-44.
An-te-hai Qing, who is tied for 4th in the SA in extra base hits with 31, aided the Niagara Falls cause with a bases-clearing double in the top of the seventh. For the game, the second baseman was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
