The Louisiana Dragoons topped the Niagara Falls Expos by the score of 4-2, with the largest share of the credit going to right fielder Riley Rowbery. Rowbery went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Dragoons. Louisiana reliever Paul Garrison picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Tung-chi Ran was saddled with the loss. Edmond McCord, credited with the save, is now 19 for 20 in save opportunities.
Walt Trombly hit a run-scoring triple off Tung-chi Ran in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Dragoons in front, 3-2. Trombly had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
"It was a solid team effort," said Rowbery after the game.
The Dragoons' win now puts them at 28-37.
