Thundercats Roll Outlaws, 7-3
|
Richardson City Thundercats starter Emershan Naidoo pitched a strong game against the Nashville Outlaws at The Thunder Dome, leading the Thundercats to a 7-3 win. Calvin Beck closed the game out for Richardson City, earning his 1st save. Richardson City is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 4th in 10 games.
Takahiro Suzuki had a big run-scoring single for the Thundercats in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Richardson City trailing 3-1 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a curveball from Onson Sweemey and stroked the single to center. It was his 4th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Thundercats ahead, 3-2.
"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Suzuki told the Richardson City Daily News.
