Thundercats Prevail, 4-2, Over Houston
|
Richardson City Thundercats starter Stanford McCain turned in a top-notch performance against the Houston 1837 BBC at Houston Grounds. The result was a win for the Thundercats, 4-2. McCain got the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 6 innings. McCain allowed 2 earned runs. Miguel Aguilar picked up the save, his 1st.
In the top of the third, Ashley Thachi hit a 3-run home run for Richardson City. The 2nd home run of the season for the Richardson City third baseman put the Thundercats on top, 3-1.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Thachi.
The Thundercats are off to a tough start, getting just their 3rd win in 8 games.
