The Syracuse Storm picked up a win at Storm Park, knocking off the Niagara Falls Expos, 4-3. Starting pitcher Frank Butler, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Syracuse, at 26-18, sits in 4th place in the Silver A.

Govaart Baars, who is tied for 2nd in the SA in doubles with 14, chipped in for Syracuse with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Baars. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
