The Syracuse Storm eked out a 4-3 win versus the Kennesaw Jets at Jets Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Donnie Rawling, who captured player of the game honors. Aurelio Gonzáles picked up the save, his 5th. The Jets, at 16-10, have lost 4 straight games.
Juan Perales, who is tied for 3rd in the SA in bases on balls with 18, aided the Syracuse cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 4 with a walk.
"It was a solid team effort," said Rawling after the game.
